About Me

I discovered Catholic tradition in 2000, through the Fraternity of St. Peter, but growing up I was very fortunate to be raised in a catechized, devout Catholic home, and receive a parochial education, thanks to my parents.

I have an MA in Catholic Philosophy, with an emphasis on the philosophy of St. Thomas Aquinas, from Holy Apostles College and Seminary, from when I had discerned the priesthood.  I am now married and a family man, working in a health care profession.  As a young man, I taught high school science and coached sports, after earning a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma.

The purpose of this blog then is to:  educate, entertain, express the "sensus fidelium" of us laity during these times, and otherwise serve as an outlet for my own personal thoughts, emotions, and perspectives on everyday life.   I write from the perspective of life in Oklahoma, and as a Catholic who attends the Traditional Latin Mass.

Enjoy!
